(GEMS RADIO)- Young Thug is going to release a new album from prison. He will drop in on June 23 which will be this Friday. Young Thug was arrested a year ago due to the YSL RICO case. His new album is called “Business Is Business”.
Metro Participated in Making It
Metro Booming posted this on Instagram “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS THE ALBUM AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE TONIGHT!! DROP SOME [fire] IF YOU READY #FREETWIN I LOVE YOU BRO,”
The post shows that Metro is involved in making the album. Drake might also be featured in it as he also posted an IG post about it. Drake posted the album’s cover and this caption under it;
“You owe me this time…midnight @thuggerthugger1,” the 6 God wrote.
The album has a black and white cover showing Young Thug in the courtroom eyeing the exit with the other people facing the judge’s seat and they are all wearing black suits.
Young Thug’s IG Post
Young Thug posted the album cover on IG alongside the caption “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS TONIGHT @metrobooming let’s go”. Since he posted it 7 hours ago, the post has gotten over 1 million views and 27,799 comments.
Most of the comments are positive. Some of his fans are commenting “Free you bae” “Free the Goat” “Free Thug” and others are speculating whether Gunna will be featured in the album. Another one commented “Internet bout to break” which shows his fans are hopeful and longing to listen to the album.
He has been in prison for a year but it seems his fans have not forgotten him. His case is dragging on and the court is still stuck in the jury selection stage one year after he was arrested.
Other Rappers are Supportive
Besides his fans, his fellow rappers also showed support in the comments section. These include artists like Don Toliver, Rich the Kid, and A$AP Rocky. This will be his first album since the last album which he released in 2021 called “Punk”. The Punk was a success as it was among the Billboard 200 and sold 90,000 units in the first week after release.
A week ago, Thug posted a QR Code with a caption “Business is Business” which made his fans speculate whether he wanted to release a song. Today’s post was a confirmation of what many were hoping for.
