(GEMS RADIO)- On Monday, Patrick Clark, accused of killing Migos rapper Takeoff, is scheduled to appear in court. The accused killer of Takeoff made a court-appointed lawyer request. He identified himself as an unpaid DJ who works for himself.
According to court records, Clark identified himself as an unpaid self-employed DJ. According to KHOU 11, he declared having no income and asked for a court-appointed lawyer.
The Suspects Bond and Restrictions
Because the accused is considered a flight risk, his bail was initially set at $2 million. After the shooting, he applied for an expedited passport in an effort to leave the country for Mexico.
He was then detained while possessing the passport and a sizable sum of cash.
If the judge releases Clark on bond, he must adhere to many rules. These include being placed under electronic surveillance, having a 24-hour house arrest, and being prohibited from possessing a handgun, using illegal substances, or drinking alcohol.
Police claim that Clark was seen on surveillance footage outside the bowling facility right before the shooting. He was seen holding with a bottle of wine and discharging a rifle. He is captured on another video leaping into a getaway car while still holding the pistol.
Takeoff was in the wrong place at the wrong time, according to Houston Police. He was not the planned target that evening. 40 people were present that night, but no one stayed to provide a statement.
Another Suspect Charged
Another person who is suspected of the shooting of Takeoff made an appearance in court last week. Police have not charged Lil Cam with shooting the rapper, but he was charged with two counts of felon in possession of a weapon.
