(GEMS RADIO)- Finally, 2Pac received recognition with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. At an event hosted by renowned radio presenter Big Boy, the late artist’s sister, Sekyiwa Shakur, accepted the honorary award. Friends, family, and admirers of the late rap icon attended the celebration.

Before her moving statement, 2Pac’s younger sister Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur received a resolution from the City of Los Angeles honoring the good deeds and legacy of 2Pac.
“Not only are we paying tribute to his contribution to the music industry, but also to the lasting impact he’s had on this world,” Set remarked in her acceptance speech.
“Today, we’re not simply honoring a star on the ground; we’re commemorating the entire world and the ardor with which he pursued his goals. Today, his celestial star will shine a little brighter.
Famous members of the Hip-Hop scene, including YG, Mike Epps, DJ Quik, Danny Boy, Allen Hughe, and fellow Outlawz member Young Noble, were present. In addition to honoring 2Pac’s music, the ceremony served as a reminder of his continuing cultural impact.

Treach rapped, spitting lines from the 1996 song “Krazy,” taken from The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, the last album 2Pac released before his passing under the alias Makaveli. “June 1-6, ‘7-1, the day/ Mama pushed me out her womb, told me, ‘N-gga get paid.”
Juice, a 1992 criminal drama starring Treach and ‘Pac, started their tight friendship. “5 Deadly Venomz,” a song from 2Pac’s second album, Strictly 4 My N.-.G.G.A.Z., was co-written by the two the following year.
