(GEMS RADIO)—Takeoff will be honored with a touching and final farewell. The rapper, originally from Georgia, died in Houston earlier this month from gun violence. The slain rapper will be memorialized at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Tickets to the memorial sold out quickly. Drake will attend the event as well.
An autopsy ran by Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Houston said that takeoff was shot in the head and torso. The suspect is still on the loose after the deadly shooting.
The service starts today at 12 PM.
