Tyler Perry May Be The New Owner of BET and VH1
(GEMS RADIO)---Tyler Perry has bought BET and VH1 from Paramount. The actor, producer, and entrepreneur has possibly sealed the deal. Bob Johnson founded BET in 1980 for under represented communities. Johnson then sold BET to Viacom in 2000 for $2.3 billion. Perry helped launch BET+ in 2019.
