(GEMS RADIO)—Snoop Dogg is feeling thankful. He thinks that Drake and Kendrick’s lyrical beef helped end the mumble rap era.
The rap vet didn’t go into specifics, but told Entertainment Tonight this: “Well, the only thing I want to say about that whole scenario is that I want to give both of them a shout out for raising the bar as far as lyrics, as far as song-making and writing because the writing has been upped since the confrontation.”
The Doggfather went on to give the rappers their flowers and thanked them for changing the landscape of hip hop. Snoop Dogg knows all about controversy when he was embroiled in one with 2pac back in the 90s.
