(GEMS RADIO) – Snoop Dogg has revealed that he fainted when he saw 2Pac’s state after being shot in Las Vegas. The Doggfather disclosed that seeing Pac in that state caused him to lose consciousness. He was speaking in an interview on Logan Paul’s podcast Impaulsive.
It’s no secret that Pac and Snoop were terrific friends back in the day. But that was until rumors started circulating of a friction within the Label. However, that didn’t stop Snoop from being overwhelmed by 2Pac’s vegetative state after the Las Vegas shooting.
“When we drive to Vegas to see Pac, we got to Suge’s house first, so we haven’t even seen Pac,” said Snoop. “We just talking to Suge, and he got the head wrapped up and he telling us what happened and saying ‘Pac gonna be alright, he going to pull through he got shot nine times before he going to be alright.'”
Snoop added, “We feeling like it’s going to be alright until we go to the hospital and see that he ain’t alright. He got tubes in him, and it’s like when I walked in like I could just feel that he wasn’t even there, and I fainted. Then his mother got me up and walked me to the bathroom, and had a conversation with me about being strong.”
The Long Beach rapper explained that Afeni Shakur would comfort him and tell him not to look weak because Pac had never seen him like that. 2Pac’s mother wanted Snoop to freshen and speak to Pac about how he felt about their friendship. As Snoop recalls, he spoke to Pac in what would be their last time.
Only recently, Snoop Dogg bought Death Row amidst the label’s downfall. He is keeping memories of the label alive with a new album after the acquisition.
