(GEMS RADIO)- Birdman has hailed himself as the greatest Hip Hop CEO ever while once more criticizing Billboard for failing to acknowledge the businesspeople that help musicians achieve success.

Birdman Faults Billboard For Failing To Acknowledge CEO’s

On March 16, the founder of Cash Money Records criticized Billboard for failing to acknowledge the CEOs of Hip Hop who have aided the culture in an Instagram post. In his post, Birdman said he was the best CEO Hip Hop has ever had in its 50-year history and attached a photo of the Billboard logo.

“@billboard I see that you listed the top 10 rappers, which is well-deserved, but what about the CEO who waged the secret war to get these rappers noticed?” commented Birdman. “So they may become great stars.” Put some respect on my name and quit playing around with me because I’m the best CEO ever and only do things out of love for everyone. In the 50 years that Cash Money Rich Gang has controlled hip-hop, Stunnaman is the best CEO ever.

As they contributed just as much to the emergence of Hip Hop as the artists they helped promote, he believes that music executives must be honored on an equal footing with the artists.

Some Names In The 50 Greatest Rappers List

In celebration of this-hop’s 50th anniversary, Billboard and VIBE’s list of the 50 Greatest Rappers completely upended the hip-hop community. The list featured artists from No. 50 to No. 11, including Kanye West, André 3000, Lauryn Hill, Ice Cube, Rakim, LL COOL J, and Black Thought.

Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Drake, The Notorious B.I.G., Lil Wayne, Eminem, 2Pac, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, and JAY-Z made up the top ten. Fans and artists had conflicting opinions on the list, with Ice Cube, Ja Rule, and others weighing in.
