(GEMS RADIO)—Production duo Pharrell and Chad Hugo aka The Neptunes are not on speaking terms currently. The duo is currently in a legal spat over the ownership of The Neptunes. Pharrell was quoted for saying this: “I love him, and I always wish him the absolute best, and I’m very grateful for our time together.”
Pharrell was sued by Hugo for fraudulent ownership of The Neptunes name. Over their career together, the duo did decide to split everything up evenly. It all comes down to the trademark of the name and who owns it now.
