(GEMS RADIO)—Both Beyoncé and The Weeknd have declared to push back major announcements to February due to the destruction that the wildfires have caused in Los Angeles. The massive blaze killed 24 people and destroyed businesses, schools, and more. That data will be increasing as well.

There was speculation that Beyoncé was going to announce either a world tour or new album, but she is waiting until the timing is right.

She posted: “I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.”

The Weeknd also is postponing his new album and his appearance at the Rose Bowl at this time as well out of respect for those who lost their homes and lives.
