Several singles and albums will be released today. There are different kinds of artists who will drop their singles today. These artists include Fivio Foreign, Key Glock, Chief Keef, Moneybagg Yo, and Offset. Lucki also released a new song this week. Rap lovers are spoilt for choice with all these interesting and entertaining music dropped this week.
Other musicians who have released singles this week are Tony Shhnow with a song titled “Don’t Look At Numbers,” serpentwithtfeet gave us “I’m Pressed,” and Key Glock’s dropped “From Nothing.” Moneybagg Yo and Offset collaborated and sang “5,4,3,2,1.” Offset seems no longer part of the Migos group because his former group members are now singing as a duo called Unc & Phew. Fivio Foreign’s single is called “London Freestyle. Lucki’s new song is Coincidence, and Chief Keef’s single is “Chief so.”
Fivio Foreign sings drill music. This music genre has been the subject of many debates among hip-hop fans. It’s believed the origin of this genre is Chicago. Later, it re-emerged in U.K and then returned to New York. Fivio Foreign is based in Brooklyn. Recently, Ma$e accused Favio of paying him poorly during the period his company had signed him. Therefore, this new song will help him redirect people’s focus on his music instead of the scandal.
Chief Keef is just 27 years old, yet he has been able to inspire three generations of rap artists. Additionally, Keef is still trying out new things and even revolutionizing the genre. His latest song Chief So, contains lyrics about him bragging about his status in rap, and Young Malcolm made its beat.
Key Glock has managed to be busy making music throughout the year despite losing his cousin Young Dolph with whom they collaborated many times. Young Dolph was killed late last year. He says making music is the best way to pay tribute to the deceased rapper.
Besides singles, some great albums also shook up the music world this week. Artists like OMB Peezy, Larry June, B.O.B, Internet Money, and YBN NAHMIR released terrific albums this week.
