Missy Elliott & Queen Latifah Receive National Medals Of Arts

(GEMS RADIO)—Both Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah were awarded The National Medals of Arts from President Joe Biden. The two received the awards in a private ceremony on October 21 for their contributions to the arts. Spike Lee, Steven Spielberg and Eva Longoria were also present.

According to the National Endowment of Arts, this is the highest award you can get in the industry by the government.

Latifah has a biopic on the way and Missy is cooking up a new album as well.
