(GEMS RADIO)—Metro Boomin, the rap producer, just sold off a portion of his catalog publishing rights for a cool $70 million. Some of the recordings include Migos’ “Bad and Boujee,” Post Malone and Quavo’s “Congratulations” and “Heartless” by The Weeknd. Shamrock Capital is the company that he sold his rights too, as did Dr. Dre and Taylor Swift. Seems like that’s the in thing to do right now.
Metro Boomin has been on the rise for months as he released Heroes & Villians. The rapper is making a name for himself with his music.
