Mary J. Blige Announces New Talk Show

(GEMS RADIO)—Mary J. Blige, the queen of hip hop and soul, has achieved another milestone in her exuberant career—a talk show.

She is teaming up with BET Networks to unveil her new talk show The Wine Down. She will not only be hosting but executive producing the show as well. She will sit down with today’s celebrities for raw conversations and sipping on her homemade wine, Sun Goddess wine, which she launched with Italian winemaker Marco Fantinel in 2020.

“BET has been one of my biggest supporters throughout my career,” Mary J. Blige said in a statement. “Being able to now create together, for them to be so supportive of my vision for the type of content I will create, is something I am grateful and excited for. We already have multiple projects in the works and there is much more to come.”

Mary released her 14th studio album called Good Morning Beautiful this year. It scored six noms at next year’s Grammys including Album of the Year.
