(GEMS RADIO)—-Lizzo has landed a deal with HBO for her documentary on her rise to fame.
Doug Pray will be executing the documentary from start to finish. Pray was heavily involved in the Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre doc, The Defiant Ones.
Lizzo’s film will tell “the inspirational story behind her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise with an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love, and international stardom.”
Lizzo, better known as Melissa Jefferson, said she had to start her own journey since their was no Lizzo before Lizzo.
