(GEMS RADIO)- Lil Keed and Gunna were close friends before the latter passed away in 2022; however, a mention of the “pushin P” rapper doesn’t seem to be on Keed’s latest posthumous album.
Gunna Shout-out in Lil keed’s “Hottest” Excluded
Last Friday, March 17, saw the release of Keed’s 20-track posthumous album Keed Speak to ‘Em 2, which features Big Sean on the song “Hottest.”
In the original version of “Hottest,” which was leaked months ago, Lil Keed is heard giving Gunna a shou-tout at the finish of his verse, as per XXL. He appeared to be rapping, saying, “Leave that boy stiff like an action figure/ Me and Spider and Gunna some big drippers.”
A unexplained blank spot has inexplicably taken the place of the Gunna shout-out in the song’s final version, which can be heard on Keed’s new album.
Lil Gotit Throwing shade on Gunna
Upon his release from prison, Gunna briefly sparked a commotion on social media when he shouted out Lil Keed, prompting Lil Gotit, the brother of Lil Keed, who died recently in May, to respond.
In addition to appearing to respond to Gunna’s tweet on his Instagram Story, Lil Gotit even went so far as to unfollow him on Instagram. N-ggas need to stop that cap, Gotit wrote before including a subsequent Story that said “Don’t call me Twin.”
Gunna’s Release From Prison
Gunna has become involved in a variety of controversies since he admitted guilt and was subsequently let go from prison.
His anti-snitch lyrics have most recently been used against him after a fan made a popular video to mock the rapper for testifying in the RICO case.
