(GEMS RADIO)–Less than a day after Chris Brown’s rape accuser’s text messages were leaked, her attorney is now withdrawing from the case. Reportedly, Ariel Mitchell, the lawyer representing a woman only identified as Jane Doe, has quit following the incident, saying that her now-former client did not tell her about the messages.
Chris was facing a $20 million lawsuit for drugging and raping the woman on a yacht near Diddy’s Miami residence in December 2020. However, a series of explicit text essages showed the woman sending nudes and texting Breezy obsessively after the incident.
“Missing u. U were honestly the best d**k I’ve had lol I just want it again. Why are you playing with meee lol.”
Breezy also disclosed an old voicemail from the same woman where she could be heard saying, “I just want to see you again … just let me know. If you want me to leave you alone, I will. But I really just wanna f**k with you again.”
In a separate Instagram Story, Chris added, “No more dragging me through the mud. CLEARLY YOU CAN ALL SEE THE (blue cap emoji). Now let’s see if the media will keep that same energy they had trying to destroy me, to run the real story. Me and my team are taking legal action on this situation. You don’t play with people’s lives like that.”
Chris Brown has received massive support from fans and fellow celebrities in light of the new developments. Nick Cannon showed his support to the singer by tweeting;
“Praying for my brother @chrisbrown, We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities’ Ephesians 6:12. The enemy stays busy.”
Lil Duval also weighed in on Chris’ situation, saying,
“So if Chris brown didn’t have those text y’all would’ve automatically took the woman side. Sad part is somebody can come out tomorrow saying the same thing and y’all will still take her side.
When y’all be dead ass wrong y’all just act like it never happened. But the person y’all falsely accused is stuck with that stigma of them for the rest of their life. You go to anybody page that was bashing Chris brown none of them apologizing for believing that girl.”
