(GEMS RADIO)—Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers has arrived.
Rapper Kendrick Lamar has released his final album for Top Dawg Entertainment, as promised it delivers and as reported, it is a double album. It features Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Thundercat, Baby Keem, Sampha, and others. Producers across the album include Pharrell, Duval Timothy, the Alchemist, Beach Noise, Boi-1da, Sounwave, Dahi, FNZ, J.LBS, Bekon, and many more.
He teased the double album with the “The Heart Part 5” earlier this week, which was expected to not make the cut on the new project, which it didn’t. The video illustrates deep fakes of Will Smith, Kanye West, O.J. Simpson, and Jussie Smollett.
The album cover art was released just yesterday and shows Lamar on guard with a gun tucked in his pants and crown of thorns on his head with two infants with a woman sitting on a bed cradling the second child.
The built up anticipation of this album was whipped into a frenzy in recent months. What do you think of the album?
