(GEMS RADIO)- Capo of The Diplomats sits down with XXL for a new Doin’ Lines series. Twenty specified phrases require the participants to complete the blanks. Jones stated: “One change Hip Hop needs to make is ending all the violence” for entry 17.
Rap Is Riskier Than The Army
Jim Jones has previously spoken out against murder in hip-hop. Capo maintained in 2020 that being a rapper is “riskier” than serving in the military. This comment came When Lil TJay was shot many times at a Chipotle restaurant in Edgewater, New Jersey.
When the Supreme Court issued a decision guaranteeing Americans the freedom to carry a pistol for self-defense, Jim Jones also spoke out against the violence in his neighborhood. Given the spike in gun violence in New York City over the past year, Jones took issue with a portion of the finding that considered New York State rules too demanding to buy a gun.
TakeOff’s shooting
A week after TakeOff was murdered in Texas, Jones remarked on Hip Hop violence in an interview. Houston police received a report of a shooting “shortly after 2:30 a.m.”. It came from a neighborhood bowling facility where a dice game had been going on. Shots were reportedly fired after a dispute broke out. Additional information wasn’t immediately available.
TakeOff’s postmortem report mimicked the same. The Migos rapper died from “penetrating gunshot wounds to the head and chest into the arm.” this is according to the Harris County Medical Examiner. There have been no detentions.
TakeOff was the subject of dedication by Jim Jones in his most recent Drip Report. Jim referred to him as a “legend” and gave the Migos their flowers.
