JAY-Z To Be Inducted Into Grammy Hall Of Fame

(GEMS RADIO)—JAY-Z will be inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame this year with his classic debut album Reasonable Doubt, which was released in 1996.

The veteran rapper will join Luther Vandross, Santana, Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine, and others as recipients of the award on May 16 at the Grammy Gala in Los Angeles. He is the only rapper nominated.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. stated, “It’s a privilege to recognize these eclectic recordings as the 2025 GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductees. Music has the unique power to shape culture and mark moments in time. Each inducted recording reflects that spirit, and we’re excited to celebrate these impactful works, ensuring their legacies continue to inspire generations to come.”
