(GEMS RADIO)- Adin Ross asked J. Cole a while a go to donate funds in Fayetteville, North Carolina, but he declined to do so because he didn’t want the deed to be filmed and shared on social media.
Ross is one of the online streamers with a huge following. He was once seen sitting besides J. Cole during an NBA Finals game between Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets at the beginning of this month.
Live Stream Confessions
In a recent live stream, the Ross revealed to his audience that he requested J. Cole to partner with him and donate money to his community in his home town while filming the event.
However, J.Cole turned down the proposal and explained that he prefers to do such gestures without broadcasting them.
Ross said “I said, ‘Yo, would you wanna do a video where me and you go to Fayetteville and we give out hella money?’”
Cole Replied, ‘I love the idea, like I really appreciate that. That’s real. But I just don’t like doing shit like that on camera.’
“So, you know, that’s what I asked him. I didn’t ask him for a live stream, I asked him something like that. But I respect J. Cole on God ’cause he’s real and he does shit off camera all the time. He’s blessing people.”
J. Cole has a Charity Foundation
Even though he likes to keep his charitable activities private, in 2011, J. Cole unveiled a charity foundation called Dreamville Foundation which has an objective of supporting children in Fayetteville.
According to its website, the foundation does the following “Since our inception, we have continued to serve children and support their family members who are attempting to overcome obstacles in their social environment in and around Fayetteville. Over the years, we have expanded to other cities and states,”
“Overall, we provide these youth and families with the necessary resources for achieving their goals. ‘Obstacles’ have included, but are not limited to financial strain, physical, mental, alcohol, and drug abuse.

“Our mission is to bridge the gap between the worlds of opportunity for urban youth. We are dedicated to providing much needed resources, charitable donations, programs, and events that empower and inspire our youth to achieve success in reaching their dreams.”
In a different live stream, Adin Ross further disclosed that J. Cole also turned down his proposal to do a live video and advice the audience about life. However, he gave the 22 year old streamer his number and assured him he will have a candid conversation with him in the future.
