J. Cole on the Cusp of Retirement?

(GEMS RADIO)—J. Cole has a new song out with BTS’s J-Hope called “On The Street”. In it, Cole contemplates retirement but doesn’t want to give it up just yet.

“Some days, I wonder if I need to pick a different hobby / I’m deep in with this rappin’, it’s all a ni**a know / I never didn’t nothin’ better, it’s hard to let it go,” he raps.

He goes back and forth on the topic of retirement in this song. He honestly doesn’t think he is ready for it yet. He continues to rap and admits he know that retirement is imminent in the song and one day that it will happen.

Cole recently helped to produce the Creed III soundtrack.
