(GEMS RADIO)- 50 Cent observed Holiday festivities at a Thanksgiving Day Parade. On the procession, the mayor of Houston presented him with a key. In appreciation for his charitable and creative accomplishments, 50 Cent was given the city of Houston’s key.
50 Cents Contribution to society
In honor of his generosity, creativity, and business savvy nature, Mayor Sylvester Turner gave the television magnate the key at a pre-parade celebration on Thursday morning (Nov. 24).
50 Cent received appreciation from the mayor for helping a lot of things in his community. Particularly for helping in the education sector. With his G-Unity Foundation, he praised 50 for “converting our secondary students into entrepreneurs.”
The mayor continued, “I’ve experienced it myself. Our community has now been transformed due to his participation.” Mayor Turner made a joke after giving the key to 50 Cent, saying, “Use the key everywhere you go. The doorway will swing open fully.
A proclamation commemorating the achievement was also given. They mentioned both his artistic career and his “countless humanitarian efforts.
G- Unit Foundation
50 Cent’s G-unity Foundation teamed up with the Houston Rockets to give thanks for the seasons. This happened earlier this week for a community turkey giveaway.
Fiddy shared a news report and remarked, “This event was wonderful.” The Houston Rockets, Spec’s, Kroger, and the G-Unity Foundation assisting Houstonians in having a joyful Thanksgiving.
In the meantime, 50 Cent published a Forbes article. He highlighted his foundation’s effectiveness in “educating youth how and where to hustle.” To give back to children and help them have a simpler upbringing than he did, he founded G-Unity in 2003. The non-profit’s mission is to promote entrepreneurship and teamwork. It focuses on low-income and neglected areas of the country.
