(GEMS RADO)-“If I Ain’t Got You,” Alicia Keys’ 2004 song, has been redone with an ensemble that includes over 70 women of color.
Reworked Version Of “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys
In addition to commemorating the song’s upcoming 20th anniversary, “If I Ain’t Got You” Orchestra Version was written for Queen Charlotte, A Bridgerton Story soundtrack on Netflix.
Alicia Keys also made a video for the updated rendition, in which all the women play their instruments while dressed and made up as characters from the Bridgerton era, under the direction of Ofentse Pitse, South Africa’s first Black female director.
She also said, I know they’ll be moved when they watch it because the women there were quite moved. Our director remarked, “It seems like we’re truly getting something right when we have an ensemble of all women of color from all over the world.” Our forebears never went through this.
The Queen Charlotte A Bridgerton Story soundtrack features Alicia Keys and instrumental renditions of songs by Beyoncé, SZA, and other artists.

The 23rd run will begin in June and travel to arenas across the United States and Canada before ending in August. A press announcement states that the singer’s tour would include a 360-degree production setup, “enabling fans to witness her live show in a completely new and thrilling way.”
“The Keys To The Summer tour will be spectacular and not to be missed!” said Alicia Keys. “I characterize it as a festival of emancipation and self-liberation! It will be vibrant, magical, and enlightening to the body, the soul, and all the senses. I’ve never had a 360-degree experience, but we ensured it was unlike anything you’ve seen! Seeing you all this summer makes me incredibly happy.
