(GEMS RADIO)- Tekashi 6ix9ine is adamant about filming the music VIDEO for his latest track in Africa, even if that necessitates using an iPhone.
6ix9ine To Film Music Video In Africa, Uganda
Despite his vicious gym attack last month, 6is9ine is returning to music. This Friday, two weeks following his most recent release, he intends to release the music video for his new single, WAPA.
6ix9ine has chosen a location after previously this week inviting his Instagram followers to vote for a place for the project. He later released a clip of a band of Ugandan children performing for WAPA, which might have helped him decide on a specific area.
He posted on Instagram on Monday night to say he had chosen an African location but was still facing some challenges.
It is currently Monday, April 10th, at 6:54 p.m. On Friday, April 14th, I promised to deliver the music video. I haven’t shot anything up until now, at this exact moment. Because I have to travel to Africa, I have to wait for VISAs. I have yet to capture even one segment for the music video, 6ix9ine said. I’ll be filming this music video in Africa and, hopefully, releasing it this weekend for you guys.
6ix9ine BUYS Selfie Stick As A Back Up Plan
Although 6ix9ine acknowledged that he only successfully obtained VISAs for himself and another person, he seemed unfazed. Despite this, he wants to film the video with a camera crew, security, or helpers.
He visited Best Buy, where he bought a selfie stick, despite having an expert’s camera with him on his trip. 6ix9ine stated, “I could utilize this mobile stabilizer to shoot the entire music video on iPhone if it doesn’t work out in Africa.
He added that the “Bori” video, which the Brooklyn rapper collaborated on with Cuban singer Lenier, was shot on an iPhone. The film has received 18 million views on YouTube in the ten days since its publication.
