(GEMS RADIO)—Drake turned down to perform at the Superbowl Halftime Show twice. According to Steve Stoute and others Drake turned down the chance not once but twice.

Stoute saluted Jay-Z, who is in charge of picking the talent for the Superbowl Halftime Shows. “As far as I’m concerned, these artists are getting their flowers, and are getting their chance to perform on this stage — these Black artists, Hip Hop and R&B artists — if it wasn’t for [JAY-Z], this wouldn’t be happening,” Stoute began. “So how could you come down and criticize this man like that?”

If Drake would have performed in New Orleans, he would have invited Lil Wayne out. New Orleans is Lil Wayne’s hometown after all. Kendrick Lamar will be performing at this year’s halftime show instead.
