(GEMS RADIO)—Donda 2 listening event has been announced.
Rapper Kanye West announced that his Donda 2 album listening event will be held on February 22 in Miami’s LoanDepot Park. February 22 is likely to be the release date for the album as well.
West says that Kid Cudi is cut from the album due to his friendship with Pete Davidson. They had a public falling out and since then West made it clear he does not want the rapper on the companion piece to Donda.
“Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u f*ckin dinosaur hahaha ?.” Cudi responded separately on Twitter, writing: “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.”
Ye responded: “I JUST WANTED MY FRIEND TO HAVE MY BACK THE KNIFE JUST GOES IN DEEPER”
This is not the first time the two rappers have fueded, though. Cudi went on Twitter back in 2016, saying West used multiple songwriters to make their music.
West still wants an apology from Billie Eilish claiming he slammed friend Travis Scott after she helped a fan on stage with an inhaler.
West is the subject of a new doc called Jeen-Yuhs and will likely headline Coachella in April.
