DaBaby has finally opened up on the shooting that he was involved in earlier in the year. It is alleged that an intruder broke into his North Caroline property, and he pulled the trigger shooting the man who survived the incident. He gave his side of the story during the Full Send Podcast after the completion of the investigation that has cleared him of any legal repercussions.
The Ordeal was Harrowing
According to the ‘Book It’ artist, he was working in the studio when his contractor alerted him that there was an intruder on the premises. He immediately rushed to the football field where he was confronted by a hooded man.
The first instinct was that the man had ill intent since he had jumped the wall. Luckily at the time, his kids were not at home and the shooting was not fatal.
Was The Intruder the Real Victim?
Although the man has not been positively identified by the police, GossipOfTheCity alleges that the man is well known in the community. The grapevine outlet alleges that the man has dementia and is also elderly. DaBaby has not commented on this and he is just grateful that the case is over.
In the meantime, the security of celebrities has come into sharp focus with growing cases of stalking and breaking into homes. One of the most chilling intrusions was the stalking of Ariana Grande by a serial lawbreaker, Aharon Brown.
DaBaby is Not the Most Liked Rapper
Recently, Dave Chapelle’s show was cancelled after he endorsed DaBaby’s outrageous remarks on the transgender community. The artist has also said that he supports the reelection of Donald Trump for the presidency in 2024 which is contrary to the celebrity culture where the Democrat candidates enjoy unwavering support.
Hence, it is clear why DaBaby is easily spooked to pull the trigger given that he is not the most popular artist in the hip hop scene.
