A$AP’s Dramatic Entrance
After making a grand entrance just before the event started, the Harlem rapper quickly became popular on social media. A$AP was seen using a female as a crutch to assist him over a barrier outside the Carlyle Hotel in New York City on Monday, the 1st of May.
Fans were anxiously expecting the renowned couple’s dramatic arrival as the Met Gala got underway. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky appeared from their hotel just as it looked like the trendiest parents would have snubbed this year’s annual get-together.
Rihanna’s Met Gala Look
Even though everyone was clamoring for a sight of her attire, the nine-time Grammy Award winner covered her gown with a voluminous fur cloak in an old Hollywood style.
But once she made her formal red carpet entrance, Rihanna changed into an unexpected Met Gala look consistent with her prior adventures.
As she entered the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rihanna wore a white Maison Valentino gown with a long, sweeping fringe. Her head and upper body were covered by a vibrant white top with rosette detailing. To complete the look, Rihanna added identical opera-length fingerless gloves and cat-eye sunglasses with added artificial eyelashes.
A$AP’s Met Gala Look
A$AP Rocky paid homage to Karl Lagerfeld, who was the subject of this year’s Met Gala, by donning a Gucci outfit. He wore a white dress shirt, a red patterned pleated kilt with a train, and black-and-white striped pants.
The couple flicked it up for the camera, and Rihanna undid her flowing shirt to reveal her glistening baby belly.
