The comedian reacted to a lengthy apology from the Hollywood actor and retired rapper of hits such as ‘Switch’ 2009 as playing the victim.
“If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims. Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith … I went to work the next day, I got kids.”
“Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.” replied the 57-year-old.
Does Chris Rock Want Will Smith to go to Prison?
Chris Rock likened the slapping incident to the assault case against Suge Knight by nicknaming Smith’ Suge’.
The Death Row Records executive is incarcerated over the assault. According to Smith, Rock has refused to accept his apology, which is “unacceptable” to him.
It’s unclear whether Chris Rock will sue Will Smith, but the steaming anger from both men is only getting worse. If nothing is done about this, the tiff could escalate to toxic levels, such as the Diddy and Mase rivalry involving Diddy’s mother.
