(GEMS RADIO)—André 3000 is preparing for his tour. The “Hey Ya!” hit maker will perform his instrumental songs off his latest avant garde album New Blue Sun. This album is an obvious departure from his rap career.
André 3000 says this about New Blue Sun: “I always said ‘one day imma make the ambient record I’d love to sleep and dream to’ (btw, watching violent shit/sleeping to news/sleeping in stressful environment takes years off your life — so this is why I invest heavy in stuff like this.)” His tour kicks off in New Orleans on September 19.
