(GEMS RADIO)—JAY-Z and the NFL have extended their business relationship in regards to the Superbowl Halftime Shows.

“It’s been a mutually positive relationship,” says NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

He added: “I’m not sure either one of us really spend much time talking about contracts. Jay is happy. I’m happy.”

Jay has continued to support hip hop culture with past performances by: The Weeknd, Rihanna and Usher, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent. Next year’s festivities will be a yet another memorable one as well as Kendrick Lamar will take center stage in New Orleans.

Orleans native Lil Wayne felt ‘broken’ after Jay overlooked him for the performance. Neither Jay or Kendrick Lamar have said anything about it.
