(GEMS RADIO)—The late great Ol’ Dirty Bastard received the documentary treatment called A Tale of Two Dirtys. RZA, of Wu-Tang Clan, was present for a Q&A panel, was stirred with emotions at the premiere. “I’m not gonna stay for the event; I got too many emotions running through my head,” he says gently. “I just want to thank you guys for a great — it’s my first time seeing the documentary for the first time completed so I got a lot in my head. But good job,” says RZA about the doc.
This was the first doc about Ol’ Dirty Bastard with the permission of the family. RZA is cousins with the late great rapper. Ol’ Dirty Bastard (born Russell Jones) passed away in 2004 from a drug overdose. He was 35 years old at the time.
