Questlove was quoted for saying, “It’s been a long time coming to bring this dream to life.” The show was originally based in Philadelphia. Now it’s a national event that draws millions.
The show featured Digable Planets, Common, Black Sheep, Jungle Brothers, The Pharcyde, Arrested Development, Queen Latifah, Pete Rock and a few special guests in the mix.
