(GEMS RADIO)—Cardi B still does have a new album coming out this year despite what she previously said. She is Rolling Stone’s cover girl for this month. She mentions that she hates being stalked on social media for new music.
“Exactly and I tell myself this all the time..and I hate that I fall back and start interacting again and it bites me in the ass…” Cardi replied. “anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing this year.. Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”
She told Rolling Stone that the album is in fact not complete. It still needs the following: an intro, at least three more songs, a title, features, and a rollout plan.
The album’s flavor has yet to be revealed: “a different person every single day. When I’m in a good mood and I’m with my friends, [I’m] like, ‘Damn, I want my shit to be played in this club.’ But then I might be mad with my man, so it’s like now I want to do this song. But then I want to do a pop record. I want to do my sing-y sh*t.”

Better Off Alone will be the rapper's fifth album and the artwork shows his eyes glowing in a radiant New York City landscape. The new album drops this Friday May 17.
