(GEMS RADIO)- The Age Of Pleasure, the singer’s forthcoming album, was discussed. She said she has no remorse about baring her breasts since she feels confident in her flesh. Monae talked about the transition into a time of sexual independence and freedom.
Monae also talked about the criticism they experienced for exposing themselves during a celebration for the debut of their brand-new song and music video, “Lipstick Lover.”
Janelle Monae doesn’t seem to care about the critique of their NSFW album advertising; they just like flaunting their breasts. Monae told RS, “I’m much happier when my titties are out, and I can run about free.
The Glass Onion star also discussed how the epidemic inspired them to create new music, pointing out that they were greatly impacted by the numerous enjoyable dance parties where music spanned from Afropop to Hip Hop. The album, in Monae’s words, “celebrates Blackness around the world.”
Monae said, “Seeing all of us together in our Blackness, in the love that we felt in our eyes for each other. I adore how the Diaspora communicates with one another.
“I want things to feel so true to my life,” Janelle continued. “I once thought of myself as a visionary. Obsessing over the next item is what that means, and I get it. I currently refer to myself as a present-day traveller. I’m consciously working on being here now.”
The Age Of Pleasure by Monae will be available on June 9.
SZA weighed in on the debate surrounding Janelle’s recent act and praised the singer for defying norms and being open about their sexuality.
SZA commented on a recent Instagram post by RNB Radar starring Monáe, “I love that it’s HER being free rn because ppl LOVE to box women in and claim that because your articulate, respected, and intelligent, you can’t show your body or be sexual or anything else lol.”
