(GEMS RADIO)-In support of his latest album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” the tour has led him to arenas worldwide. Breaking Drake’s prior record, Kendrick Lamar becomes the first rapper to earn more than $110 million from a tour. Over 900,000 tickets were sold for Kendrick’s “The Big Steppers Tour.”
“Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” Tour
To promote his fifth album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” the Compton rapper went on tour last year, performing in arenas worldwide. It started last summer when he performed at Glastonbury Festival 2022 as part of a lineup that included Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish to usher in the new age.
According to a five-star evaluation of Kendrick Lamar’s performance in Paris last year, the tour exhibits a creative vision that would blow most regular people’s heads. It’s an incredible, poignant performance from a modern rap legend.
The Big Steppers Tour Delivers Better Than The Competition
Drake’s “Aubrey & the Three Migos” Tour, Travis Scott, Kanye West, Jay-Z, and his own “DAMN.” tour were all surpassed by Kendrick Lamar’s “The Big Steppers Tour.” With the sale of 929,000 tickets across 73 gigs globally, Lamar’s record-breaking tour brought in over $110 million.
Kendrick Lamar has also performed better than Tyler, the Creator’s “Call Me If You Get Lost Tour” regarding best rap tour revenue following the coronavirus outbreak. Even though it was difficult to tour during the epidemic, Lamar’s tour kept breaking records and establishing new benchmarks for the hip-hop industry.
Big Steppers’ Ongoing Tour
Kendrick will travel with the “Big Steppers Tour” to musical events in the US and Europe this summer.
With Foo Fighters, Lana Del Rey, and other artists, he will perform Outside Lands in San Francisco in August. The following month, he will perform at Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas, where he will be joined at the front of the bill by The Killers and ODESZA.
