Drake Enlists Help of First Female Singer at His Label

(GEMS RADIO)—Drake is officially introducing the first lady of OVO Records, his record label. Dutch/Caribbean singer Naomi Sharon released two new singles, “Another Life” and “Celestial,” on Friday (January 20). Her sound and voice are smooth add to the tranquility of her talent. She reminds Gems of Sade a bit.

Drake shared this: “I’ve been waiting for this day for too long now where the world finally gets to digest the insane amount of work you have put in since we met,” he wrote. “My dear friend just dropped her single Another Life on OVO SOUND.”

Naomi, now the first female of OVO, said this about her mental stimulation: “Pretty much through music and deep conversations I have with friends. It brings me a lot of peace and it also inspires me to write.”
