(GEMS RADIO)—Taylor Hawkins will be properly honored at the Foo Fighters tribute shows.
Hawkins, died from a drug overdose at age 50, back in March. The remaining band members, Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee, will be playing two separate shows in September in his memory— one in London’s Wembley Stadium and another in the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
In a statement, his widow Alison said: “My deepest thanks and admiration go out to the global Foo Fighters community and Taylor’s fans far and wide for the outpouring of love each and every one of you have shown our beloved Taylor.”
