(GEMS RADIO) – Wiz Khalifa has issued a stern warning to fans who may have ideas about him after watching the Will Smith Oscars fiasco. “You will get shot.”
The rapper is aware that a trend may start where fans may want to jump on the bandwagon following Sunday’s Oscars where Will Smith went on stage and slapped Chris Rock after he made a joke about his wife’s alopecia condition.
Wiz was holding a party for his brand new documentary Still Rolling Papers in Los Angeles on Tuesday when he made the statement.
“Thank y’all for coming out. If anybody tries to walk up here and slap me, you will get shot,” said Wiz as the room erupted into laughter. “I’m just letting you know right now.”
“Breeze keep the blicky,” joked Wiz on IG. He was referencing his tough security guard known for checking rowdy fans.
He’s Taking Fighting Classes
Wiz is taking up strict measures to keep the unexpected from happening. The rapper has also taken up a new hobby – mixed martial arts. That’s right, the Pittsburgh native has over the past few years been training in a fighting gym. He even fancies himself as a fighter.
Gym owner and NFL analyst Jay Glazer “Let me tell you something: I’ve been hit in the body by Chuck Liddell, Randy Coutoure, Kyle Long — I mean, the biggest, baddest dudes on the planet, but Wiz is the only dude who’s hurt me with a body shot! … His work ethic is ridiculous.”
Wiz Khalifa’s New Documentary
Wiz’s new 30-minute documentary features the rise of Wiz Khalifa and his breakout hits Black and Yellow in his 2011 debut album Rolling Papers
“10 years sounds like a lot but it don’t feel like that much it still feels fresh,” says Wiz in the film’s opening scene. “It still feels good. For me, it’s when I look back at the footage. ‘Cause I’m always in it when I’m there, but when I look back I’m like, ‘Whoa, we did some magnificent shit, for real.’”
