Aaliyah’s first posthumous album entitled Unstoppable will be dropping this month. This is according to her uncle and Blackground Records founder, Barry Hankerson. R&B star Aaliyah tragically died in a plane crash in August of 2001. The mellow song “Poison” with the Weeknd is already out. Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Future, and Drake are some of the special guests featured on the project.

Aaliyah’s music finally debuted on all streaming services in 2021. Her estate went on to say they are also planning to “release unique and exciting projects to keep Aaliyah’s legacy and light shining.”
