Rap superstar Saweetie is set to host and perform at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards. The rapper will be performing “Best Friend” and “Back to the Streets” off her upcoming debut album Pretty Bitch Music. The show will air Sunday November 14.
“Anything can happen at the MTV EMAs,” said Saweetie. “The EMAs celebrate the universal language of music for the whole world to see and I can’t wait to get out there and perform because I’ve got some surprises of my own!”
Saweetie is also nominated for Best New EMA at this year’s event. She will be going against Kid LAROI, Giveon, Olivia Rodrigo, Rauw Alejandro, and Griff.
Eminem and Snoop Dogg were very good friends until sometime last year when Snoop left out Marshall Mathers from his list of top 10 rappers of all time. This was during an appearance on The Breakfast Club when he argued that Em’s stature in the rap game was as a result of his association with Dr Dre.
