(GEMS RADIO)- The 2023 Grammy nominations have been made public. Before the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy revealed the complete list of nominees. The event will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on February 5, 2023,

Most Nominated Artist Honors Go To Beyoncé

Beyoncé has elevated herself to the very top of the Grammy hierarchy. The superstar singer tied her hubby with a lead of nine nominations on Tuesday. The song “Break My Soul” by Beyoncé received nominations for record and song of the year. “Renaissance” also made a foray into the dancehall music genre and was nominated for album of the year.

Nicki Minaj, meanwhile, expressed her displeasure with the Recording Academy in October. “Super Freaky Girl” was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance after being disqualified from the rap categories.

New Grammy  Awards Regulations

The eligibility requirements and categories will see several modifications for the 2023 Grammys. The Recording Academy stated that albums must feature over 75% new music. This will be to qualify for consideration. The recording academy announced the creation of five new categories earlier this year.
